Lecture: Gerald Roy, "My Obsession with Yellow"
Gerald presents a Powerpoint presentation about his lifelong love affair with the color yellow. He will combine it with a live "show and tell" of actual quilts from his collection, and there will be time for questions from the audience.

In this informative lecture, learn Sue’s secrets to successful machine quilting on the home sewing machine. In this ever changing world of machine quilting, see how Sue works to quilt even her large quilts on her home sewing machine. Starting with a Powerpoint presentation of her quilts, move on to see her sewing room, how to manage the actual quilt and then top tips that make free motion quilting more fun and relaxing at the home sewing machine. Sue will end with showing some of her actual quilts and then there will be time for questions from the audience.

Lecture: Sue Nickels, "The Quilt Collaborations of Sue Nickels and Pat Holly"
I n this lecture, Sue will share the unique way she and her sister, Pat Holly, collaborate on their award winning quilts. Share Sue and Pat’s history in quilting through slides of their collaborative quilts including “The Beatles Quilt” and “The Space Quilt.” Sue will bring quilts to share and allow time for questions from the audience.

In this session we will be discussing general preventative maintenance and have a Q & A with Antonio….the lead technician at Urban Spools and Mr. Sewing Machine with over 17 years of experience. Antonio is a wealth of knowledge and will provide practical tips to keep your sewing machine running smoothly at home.

Demo: Machine Saskiko Penelope Bell with Urban Spools
