Be a Show Volunteer!

 

Did you know that the Dallas Dallas Quilt Show is the largest volunteer-driven quilt show in the nation? It takes a monumental number of volunteer hours to get the show on the road! We need volunteers to collect tickets, serve as 'booth sitters', 'quilt angels' and a host of other duties.


Being a volunteer is NOT limited to only Guild members. We welcome just about all comers (we draw the line at young children.) We'll make it worth your while!

2 hours= FREE ADMISSION to the show

4 hours= free admission AND the gift shown below (rotary cutters, scissors and thread not included...)

8 hours= our special volunteer angel pin and commemorative year bar.

You'll note that each of the volunteer job positions above have letters denoting days of the week behind the listing.

For example: Entries has (W) behind. That means that Wednesday is the only day that job is available. Please do not indicate interest in a job that is not available on the day you wish to volunteer. Be advised that some jobs may not be available for the entire day indicated.

Volunteers with limited mobility should make note of jobs with an asterisk (*) following the listing. These jobs are considered "sit-down" jobs that won't require excessive walking.

When emailing your volunteer information, please place your time(s) available and position requests in the body of your email along with your name/contact info, and send to the volunteer coordinator listed on the form.
