Lecture: Pat Yamin, "Hexagons, Diamonds, Triangles & Quilts!"
Come and feast your eyes on Pat Yamin’s collection of antique quilts dating from the 1800’s. You’ll learn how they inspire modern quilters to recreate them with today’s fabrics! Pat will be giving basic information about each quilt, making it a personal quilt story while she transports you back in time and gives you a sense of taking part in their creation. Pictures are welcome, and be sure to bring pencil and paper with you to take notes.

An entertaining digital PowerPoint presentation showing the process of making pictorial quilts using Cynthia's "Picture-piecing" technique. Enlarging the design, fabric selection, and organizational methods are discussed in detail. A question and answer session to follow.

This lecture explores ways to increase the potential of what we already have in our fabric collections. Cynthia will offer new insights on what to look for in fabrics to get the most out of it; a topic that is near and dear to all of quilters! Organizing and storage of fabrics will also be addressed.
